Don't pay $79.99
to find out it's a 6.
Photograph a card. In about ten seconds, TAS predicts what PSA, CGC and BGS would each grade it — and names the flaws that cap the number. Submit the winners. Sell the rest raw.

Significant edge wear with chipping and whitening, plus off-centering — the left border is noticeably thinner than the right.
All three graders, side by side.
PSA, CGC and BGS weight edges and centering differently, and the gap between them is often the whole decision.
The flaws, named.
Centering, surface, corners and edges judged from photos of both sides, with the flaw that caps the grade named in writing — not a number you have to take on faith.
Submit, or sell it raw.
The graded band at the predicted grade, minus the raw sale you give up, minus PSA's fee — arithmetic you can check, not a recommendation.

- what PSA, CGC and BGS would each give it — they disagree
TAS is not affiliated with PSA, CGC or BGS, and these are predictions from a photograph, not grades. Every figure above comes from one real scan, published unedited — including the part that does not flatter us: that card came back a 6. Telling you that is the product. PSA pricing verified August 2026.

01 · THE PHOTO
It starts with one flat,
well-lit photograph.
Nothing has left your device yet. Your browser finds the card and trims the photo to it, before anything is uploaded.
02 · THE INSPECTION
Four things get checked,
on both sides.
A vision model compares the border widths for centering, looks over the surface for scratches and print lines, and checks every corner for whitening and every edge for chips.
03 · WHAT CAME BACK
This card's numbers.
Subgrades from the vision model, out of 10
04 · THE GRADE, AND THE REASON
“Significant edge wear, particularly on the back of the card, with noticeable chipping and whitening.”
One real scan, 10.1 seconds, printed exactly as it came back.
05 · WHY IT MATTERS
PSA would have charged
$79.99 to tell you that.
And taken 40–50 business days over it. The card above was never worth submitting — which is the answer you want before you pay for it, not after.
A real scan. Printed exactly as it came back.
Not a mockup and not our best result — one card, run through the live pipeline on 7 August 2026, in 10.1 seconds. This is what you get.
The card's significant edge wear, particularly on the back, and noticeable centering issues on the front (left-to-right) will prevent it from achieving a higher grade. While the surface and corners appear relatively strong, the edges are a major detractor.
- Significant edge wear, particularly on the back of the card, with noticeable chipping and whitening.
- Off-centering on the front, with the left border being noticeably thinner than the right.
“I have graded this card honestly, prioritizing the visible flaws in centering and edges, which are critical factors for all grading companies, especially BGS and CGC.”
What TAS is not
It is a prediction, not an appraisal, and it only sees what your photo shows — it cannot judge a back you did not photograph, and a blurry shot produces a worse read. Value figures are AI estimates, not live sold-comp data. We are new and have no track record to point at yet, so the model shows its reasoning on every scan and you can judge it against cards whose grades you already know. That is what the free tier is for.
Test it on a card you've already had graded →Grading only pays on some cards. Here are today's prices.
These are real sold prices from TCGplayer, not our estimates — dated, attributed, and linked to the source. PSA charges $79.99 a card whichever one you send.

Charizard
Base · #4
$955
raw, recently sold · TCGplayer · 2026/10/15
Worth more raw than the $79.99 fee — the grade decides how much more.

Umbreon
Neo Discovery · #13
$817
raw, recently sold · TCGplayer · 2026/10/15
Worth more raw than the $79.99 fee — the grade decides how much more.

Pikachu
Jungle · #60
$28.37
raw, recently sold · TCGplayer · 2026/10/15
Worth less raw than the $79.99 fee. Grading this is a bet, not an investment.
That is the whole problem in three cards. The Pikachu is worth $28.37 raw, so a $79.99 submission has to be a near-perfect copy before it makes sense at all — and you cannot know that by looking. TAS tells you what it would grade before you spend anything.
It works out what the card is
Set, number and rarity come back from the photo — you do not have to look anything up. Naming the card yourself is optional, and only sharpens the value estimate.

Before you trust it with a card
The questions people ask first — including the one about accuracy, answered honestly.
All questions →How accurate are the predictions?
We don’t publish an accuracy figure yet, because we don’t have one we can stand behind. TAS is new, and we haven’t yet compared enough predictions against grades that actually came back from PSA, CGC and BGS to put an honest number on it.
What we do instead is show our working: every result names the flaws behind the grade in writing, so you can check them against the card in your hand. When we have a measured accuracy figure, it will be published with how it was measured.
Is a TAS result an official grade?
No. It’s a prediction of what PSA, CGC and BGS might grade the card, made from a photo. Only a grading company that physically examines the card can grade it, and TAS isn’t affiliated with any of them.
TAS also can’t tell whether a card is authentic. Please don’t describe a card as “graded” or “certified” because of a TAS result.
Do you keep my photos?
Your browser trims each photo to the card before anything is uploaded. When you ask for a grade, the photos are sent to an AI vision model (Z.ai’s GLM through OpenRouter, with Google Gemini as a backup) to produce the prediction, and they aren’t stored as part of the scan.
A preview copy is kept only if you save the card to your collection, and deleting the card or your account deletes it.
What can I do for free?
A free account gets 3 AI grades a day, the PSA prediction and the written flaw report — no card details needed. Grading needs an account, so your scans are saved to it.
Paid plans add CGC and BGS predictions, numeric subgrades, value estimates, a saved collection and a personal API key; the higher plans add bulk scanning and CSV export.
Can I cancel any time?
Yes — from your dashboard, via Manage billing. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you’ve paid for, then moves to free. Your scans and collection are kept.
Which cards does it work on?
Any trading card photographed face-on: the condition check and grade predictions don’t depend on the game. The model also identifies the card — set, number and rarity — from the photo.
Live market prices in the Carddex currently cover Pokémon cards (from TCGplayer and Cardmarket). Value estimates on a scan are AI estimates, not sold-listing data.
