Pricing
PSA's cheapest tier is $79.99 a card.
And it's a 10-week wait.
TAS tells you what a card would grade before you pay for the submission. A free account grades three cards a day — no credit card needed.

Every tick below is enforced in the API, not just written on this page. A plan that doesn't include a row never receives it in the response.

The maths on a single submission
As of August 2026, PSA's lowest available service is Regular at $79.99 per card with a 40–50 business days estimate. The cheaper Value tiers ($29–$59) have been paused since June 2026 while PSA works through a backlog reported at roughly 14 million cards. Bulk pricing at $24.99 needs a Collectors Club membership at $99–$249 a year, and is paused too.
So the real question on a raw card is not “what might this grade?” — it is whether it clears $79.99 plus shipping and insurance both ways. A card that comes back a 7 usually does not. One submission you correctly skip pays for a year of TAS.

Work out whether it pays for itself
Set the slider to the size of a stack you'd actually sit down and work through. Everything below is arithmetic on PSA's published $79.99 Regular price and our plan prices — check it.
10 cards at PSA Regular, before shipping and insurance both ways — and before you know which of them were worth sending.
50 AI scans / day, billed yearly (34% under monthly).
Collector pays for itself the first time it talks you out of a single submission. Every bad card it catches after that is $79.99 you keep.
Allowances are per day and reset at midnight UTC, so a bigger stack means the tier above rather than a longer wait. PSA pricing as of August 2026; TAS is not affiliated with PSA.
Questions worth asking before you pay
How accurate is it, really?
TAS is a prediction, not an appraisal. It reads centering, surface, corners and edges from your photos and gives you the grade a submission would most likely return, with the reasoning written out so you can judge it yourself. It sees only what your photos show, and a blurry or glare-heavy shot will produce a worse read. Treat a borderline call as borderline.
Do I need an account to try it?
Yes, but it is free and needs no credit card. A free account gives you three scans a day, with the complete result rather than a preview with the number hidden: a PSA grade prediction and the full written flaw report. Paid plans add CGC and BGS, numeric subgrades, value estimates and a saved collection.
Does the monthly price really go down?
Yes. Each month you keep a monthly plan, the next invoice is 1% cheaper than the list price was, until the plan reaches its floor — Collector goes from $5.99 down to $4.19 by month 31. It’s applied by Stripe on each renewal, so you’ll see it on the invoice and on the “next payment” line in the billing portal.
It counts the months you’ve paid on one unbroken subscription. Switching plans keeps your count, but the new plan’s own floor applies. It doesn’t apply while you’re billed yearly, because yearly plans are discounted up front instead. Cancel and resubscribe later and it starts again from the full price.
Can I change plans or switch to yearly?
Yes — from Manage billing on your dashboard. An upgrade takes effect straight away and you pay the prorated difference for the rest of the period; a downgrade credits the unused part of your current plan against future bills.
How do I cancel?
One button in your dashboard opens the Stripe billing portal, where you can cancel in one step. You keep your paid features until the end of the period you already paid for. No email, no retention call.
What happens to my collection if I downgrade or cancel?
Nothing is deleted. Your saved cards stay exactly where they are; you simply stop being shown the fields your new plan doesn't include — CGC and BGS predictions, subgrades and value estimates go back to being locked. Every scan is stored with all three graders' predictions from the start, whatever you were paying at the time, so if you resubscribe later the full history is there waiting rather than needing to be re-scanned.
What happens when I run out of scans for the day?
Grading stops until your allowance resets at midnight UTC — the app tells you how many you have left and when the reset lands, so you aren't surprised mid-stack. Allowances don't roll over, and the free plan additionally leaves a ten-second gap between scans, which is about how long a grade takes anyway. Paid plans have no gap.
Is TAS affiliated with PSA, CGC or BGS?
No. TAS is independent and predicts what those companies would likely grade. We have no relationship with them and cannot influence, expedite or guarantee any real submission.
What happens to my card photos?
Your browser trims each photo to the card, and nothing is uploaded until you press Get my grade. The photos are then sent for AI grading, and a copy is stored with the scan so your collection can show it. Deleting a card from your collection deletes that copy.
