The short version
- Use one account and stay within your plan’s limits.
- Don’t attack, overload, scrape or reverse-engineer TAS.
- Never pass off a TAS prediction as a real grade when selling or trading a card.
This summary is for convenience. The full text below is what applies.
01Respect the limits
Daily allowances and cooldowns keep TAS affordable for everyone. Don’t:
- create more than one account, or use throwaway email addresses, to get extra free scans;
- rotate IP addresses, clear storage or use proxies to repeat the no-account scan;
- share a personal account or API key with people outside your household or business;
- use automation on the website itself — use the API, which is built for it.
02Honest selling and trading
A TAS result is a prediction from a photo. When you buy, sell or trade a card, you must not:
- describe a card as “graded”, “TAS 10”, “certified”, “authenticated” or similar because of a TAS result;
- present a screenshot of a TAS result as if it came from PSA, CGC, BGS or any grading company;
- edit a result, or grade a different copy of a card, to mislead a buyer about the copy you’re selling.
You’re welcome to share your results — just call them what they are: a TAS prediction.
03Security and integrity
- Don’t probe, scan or test the vulnerability of TAS without our written permission.
- Don’t try to access another person’s account, scans or keys.
- Don’t overload the Service, interfere with other users, or attempt to bypass authentication, rate limits or plan checks.
- Don’t try to extract the prompts, models or weights behind the predictions, or copy the Service to build a competing one.
- Don’t embed instructions in photos or card names intended to manipulate the AI’s output.
04Scraping and data reuse
Don’t scrape or bulk-download the Carddex, prices or predictions. Card data and prices come from third parties whose terms apply to them; if you need that data in bulk, go to the source (for example the Pokémon TCG API).
05What you upload
- Only upload photos of trading cards that you have the right to use.
- Don’t upload anything unlawful, sexually explicit, hateful, or containing other people’s personal information.
- Don’t use folder names or notes to harass or impersonate anyone.
06What happens if the rules are broken
Depending on how serious it is, we may warn you, rate-limit or revoke API keys, remove content, or suspend or close the account. Where reasonable, we’ll explain why and give you a chance to fix it first. Serious or repeated abuse may be closed without a refund, as described in the Terms of Service.
